Design a learning experience to empower mid to senior level mangers that fosters a ‘Think Different’ mindset

Client background & brief:
  • The client is a leader in drive technology and drive automation but it has a flat organizational structure. The client was looking to break the silo structure of working to empower the team to innovate, motivate the team and increase efficiency and effectiveness in their day-to-day work.

  • How can we create a learning experience to empower mid to senior level employees that fosters a ‘Think Different’ mindset and toolset, empowering them to innovate in their day-to-day work and processes.​​

How did we support:
  • We formed a cross functional team of managers across various functions, working in different parts of India.

  • Suggested a 2-day Design Thinking learning journey to get the outcome from this initiative. The journey was planned to ensure the participants applies the key tenets of Design Thinking on some of the challenges faced by the organization currently. The team worked on the following

    • Step 1 – Prework (Team formation, problem theme identification for class challenge)​

    • Step 2 – Applied Design Thinking approach throughout 2-day engagement​

    • Step 3 – Came up with solutions.​

    • Step 4 – Prototyped solutions and conducted user testing ​

    • Step 5 – Showcased solutions​

Journey outcome:
  • Teams learnt to collaborate, apply customer centric approach to understand problems clearly, design solutions and tell customer centric stories,
  • Each team worked on different projects across the journey.​​
